Hopefully, you don't have a problem hearing this from a man, but you've got a nice recording voice.
I'm not sure I could pull off the "audio bloggging," but it works for you.
One advantage is that, addition to making you more "real," the recording conveys your tone very well - something that can often be difficult to accurate discern from a frickin' font.
Again, I wish you the best on your adventure. It's the same adventure that we're all on, but you actually recognize it as such and I think there's value in that.
