although this was supposed to be a satirical look at race and education, there is a lot of truth to it...i believe blacks automatically are faced with a disadvantage
Absolutely. That's why I decided to give the short version over here. Sometimes it takes satire to burn someone enough to make something happen.
I'm not angry like a few folks said in posting responses here the last couple of days, I am disappointed in my people. If I hear one more critism of George W, or anyone for that matter without getting an even side on what folks are supposed to be angry about, then I might get mad.
We have an opportunity to do some great things with ourselves in the upcoming days... Elections and just taking the time to make change is right there in front of us.
I asked this one cat what he planned on doing to make change in his life, he told me that once stuff dies down at work he'll look and see if he has the time to make change. Then he went on and said that he won't even have time to vote in the election although it's on his way to work.
hopefully someone caught a clue while watching this. i was shaking my head because it's true.
@ hassan...that dude is gonna be dead before he finds "the right time". we have to stop waiting on the opportune moment to make life work for us. now all i need to do is take my own advice.
Chance: I will say this that who ever the next president of America will be whether it is a Democrat to Republican will have not choice but to continue with President George Bush’ political agenda because the war in Iraq, Iran nuclear possibility, North Korea nuclear threat, national deficit, immigration both legal and illegal, etc will not be gone when President George Bush leaves office. I feel that things will get worse and that America will have another civil war and it will be a racial civil war, and America will eventually fight North Korea and China and the Muslims and Nuclear war will erupt.
This is so real. People need to take this stuff serious. Your thoughts on the escalating war and other issues are on target. Things are going to get worse. I don't see us living the same life we have been living...a change is coming no matter who is in office.
Uniquely talented, but highly reserved. In love with Hip Hop and its related subcultures to the point where I haven't had any children. A picture snapper, budding wordsmith and a retired emcee that replaced the urge to rhyme in ciphers with the spoken word. Newly minted adventurer.

LOL... why does satire make more of a point than a well-worded rant?
